Persea Gratissima Oil

Avocado Oil

Avocado Oil is the everyday nourisher, a rich green oil pressed straight from the fruit.

  • Deeply nourishes dry skin: it is around 70% oleic acid, which sinks in rather than sitting on top.
  • Supports your skin barrier: beta-sitosterol helps your skin lose less moisture through the day.
  • Softens the look of fine lines: vitamins A, D and E work on texture and tone over time.

Avocado Oil

Why we use it

Mexico grows more avocados than anywhere else on earth, and the oil has been part of skincare there for as long as anyone has recorded it. What sets it apart from other plant oils is what comes with the fat: vitamins A, D and E, and phytosterols that support the skin's own lipids. Over time that is what softens the look of fine lines and leaves skin more even and more resilient, rather than just coated. You will find it in the Removing Balm on Step 1, in the Radiating Cream on Step 6 and in the Clarifying Mask on Step 3, where it keeps a clay mask from drying your skin out.
