Red Clay

Why we use it

Its benefits include absorbing excess oil, gentle cleansing, and providing minerals to the skin. Its composition includes the predominant clay mineral, illite, along with kaolinite and sometimes montmorillonite. Quartz, iron oxides, and trace elements like magnesium, calcium, and potassium contribute to the clay's unique properties. The red color is often attributed to the presence of iron oxides.
