Agave Stem Extract

Agave is the backbone of every one of our bars, a Mexican plant that cleanses and hydrates at the same time. Its saponins are natural cleansing compounds, so they lift away oil and dirt without the harshness of a conventional surfactant, while its mucopolysaccharides support the skin barrier at the same time. The plant takes seven to ten years to reach maturity and grows in semi-arid Jalisco on very little water, which is part of why we work with it. Whichever bar you start your routine with, agave is doing the same quiet work underneath.
