How was the Skin Refining Duo clinically tested?
Both products in the Duo, the Hydrating Toner and the Regenerating Serum, are clinically tested. Their tolerability was assessed in an independent dermatological study by Dermatest, the products were used twice daily over six weeks, with no irritation and no allergic reactions recorded for either product. The Regenerating Serum was additionally measured for efficacy: in an independent study using PRIMOS 3D skin analysis, it showed an average reduction in wrinkle depth of 24,6% after 42 days of twice-daily use.
What is PRIMOS 3D skin analysis?
PRIMOS is a high-resolution optical method that maps the surface of the skin in three dimensions. Rather than relying on photographs or self-reporting, it captures the fine structure of lines precisely enough to measure changes in wrinkle depth over time. We used it in our independent study to measure how the Regenerating Serum affects the look of wrinkles.
How long does it take to see results?
In our independent study, the Regenerating Serum showed an average reduction in wrinkle depth of 24,6% after 42 days of twice-daily use, which is why we suggest giving the Duo a routine of around six weeks. Results build gradually and vary from person to person. From the very first applications, many of our customers write that their skin already feels calmer, softer and more comfortable, and around the two-week mark it often looks more hydrated and more even. As with any skincare, consistency is what makes the difference.
Is the Skin Refining Duo suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The Duo was developed with reactive, sensitive skin in mind, and both products were assessed for tolerability in an independent Dermatest study, with no irritation and no allergic reactions recorded across 30 volunteers over six weeks of twice-daily use. The formulas are 100% natural, vegan and free from synthetic ingredients. If your skin is very reactive, we always recommend a small patch test first, since everyone's skin is different.
Were the results independently evaluated?
Yes. Tolerability was evaluated by Dermatest, an independent German dermatological testing institute, and the Regenerating Serum's wrinkle-depth result was measured using PRIMOS 3D skin analysis in an independent study. We share these results because we would rather let verified data speak than make grand promises.
