Why we use it

There is a small irony in this one. Hyaluronic Acid (Cassia) grows in dry, arid regions and needs very little water to farm, and what it gives back is one of the most powerful humectants we have. It comes from senna seeds, used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Chinese traditions, though the cosmetic use is recent. In your routine it turns up twice: in the Hydrating Toner, where it prepares your skin for everything that follows, and in the Regenerating Serum, where it works alongside Tepezcohuite on Step 5.
